Do you tell them when they are wrong, or just fix it?

I have been quietly fixing. It works but it feels like a small lie by omission.

Fix it, then mention it once, lightly, afterwards. They keep the dignity and the fix.

I say nothing and let the fix speak.

Depends whether they will hit the same wall again. If yes, tell them.
